Wedding & Event Rentals

Make history with your event at one of the most significant historic sites in America. Including seven stone houses that date to the early eighteenth century, this National Historic Landmark District offers a variety of options for memorable weddings and events, including ceremonies, showers, receptions, and parties.

The French Church, located on Huguenot Street in New Paltz, is a reconstruction of the first stone church in New Paltz, originally built in 1717. This reconstructed church was built in 1972 with funds from the Crispell Family. The structure features high-backed wooden pews and a raised pulpit and has a maximum capacity of 65 people. It is a uniquely simple and yet appealing structure, with remarkable acoustic clarity.

Our attractively landscaped grounds behind the Deyo House, a breathtaking Victorian mansion, have views of the stone houses, space for tents, and shade from stately trees that have sheltered Huguenot Street for over a century. These picturesque grounds make the perfect setting for wedding receptions and parties, just steps away from a state-of-the-art catering kitchen.

Deyo House Picnic Area

For renters looking to host a birthday party or family reunion our Deyo House Picnic Area is perfect! We offer a 4-hour rental for this area. No tenting or additional set up is permitted. Access to our catering kitchen is not included in this rental.

1. The village requires that all lawn events conclude by 10pm.

2. Lawn renters hosting a Reception/Party MUST provide portable bathrooms and parking personnel.

3. All renters will be asked for a $500 Security Deposit (to be put toward the total cost) and a $500 Lawn Deposit (completely refundable based on the condition of the Lawn after the rental).

4. Overages: Any lawn rental that extends beyond 4 hours will be charged an additional $200/hour.

Use of the catering kitchen is available for Deyo House Lawn renters only

Deyo Hall Bathrooms
Use of the restrooms is permitted however, Deyo Hall is short walk from Deyo House Lawn. We recommend renting a bathroom trailer for any party with guests who need mobility accommodation. We require bathroom trailer rentals for all parties with over 100 guests.
