Photography & Filming Application Process

1.     Please review all parts of the HHS Photography & Filming Application Form, including general information about fees before filling out the application form. Send any questions to media@huguenotstreet.org.

2.     Filling out the application form does not guarantee approval. No filming may commence until a written Agreement is signed between HHS and the Applicant. HHS will make every effort to respond to your initial request within a two- to three-week period.

3.     The Applicant should provide the information requested below at least 14 days prior to proposed filming dates. 30 days is highly encouraged for interior shoots to increase the likelihood of HHS staff being able to accommodate. Please provide sufficient documents for HHS to have a good understanding of the shoot.

4.     For item 7 on the Application, please describe the type of activity envisioned. Describe what will be filmed or photographed or recorded and how. Please include the number of people, animals, and vehicles involved and any special equipment which you will use. Equipment should be described fully, including potential for causing environmental damage, including adverse noise, and lighting impacts.

5.     For filming, a copy of the treatment must be provided.

6.     For interior photography or filming, a meeting with the HHS Marketing and Communications Coordinator and other appropriate staff is required. A walk through/scout may be scheduled in advance of the activity.

7.     Mark all potential sites for activities relating to the shoot on a map of the site provided by the HHS Marketing and Communications Coordinator

8.     The General Conditions contained in the Photography & Filming Application apply to the shoot unless such conditions are specifically modified according to Special Conditions contained in the written Agreement between HHS and the Applicant.

9.     The application must be signed by a fully authorized agent of the entity that will actually be undertaking the activities specified in the Agreement. The Agreement is non-transferable and may not be otherwise assigned to a different entity without the express written consent of HHS. If the application is approved, it becomes part of the Agreement and additional terms and conditions may be required.

10.   The Agreement will be reviewed by appropriate HHS staff over a two- to three-week period. Requirements specific to your project will be inserted in Special Conditions and any fees will be listed in the Agreement.
