Springtime Medicines: A Nature Walk With Ethnoecologist Justin Wexler

On this walk, we will explore the many plant medicines of springtime, a season of purification for the indigenous peoples of the Northeast. Join ethnoecologist Justin Wexler of Wild Hudson Valley on one of our seasonal walks. We will explore the outdoors and learn about the local environment and Indigenous Hudson Valley life of five centuries ago.

Check-in is at the DuBois Fort Visitor Center. The program will begin at the replica Esopus Munsee wigwam and will guide visitors up Huguenot Street, through the Nyquist-Harcourt Wildlife Sanctuary.
