This year marks the 5th Annual Holiday Hoopla Parade and Winter Carnival Celebration in New Paltz. “Holiday Hoopla” is not highlighting a particular religious or spiritual celebration… Together, we are committed to bringing ‘light’ and good cheer, as well as reminding folks they are cared for and not alone. 

From 1 pm to 3 pm, HHS will be hosting the "Winter Carnival," with live music, children’s costume contest (theme to be announced), food vendors, and numerous activities for children of all ages and families (i.e., arts & crafts, bouncy houses, face painting, outdoor carnival games, petting zoo, etc.).

The rest of the merriment will be conducted in other parts of the town. Please also note that the parade will not end at our site this year.

The rain/inclement weather date will be December 15th. 

This event is hosted in partnership with Town of New Paltz Office for Community Wellness, New Paltz Police Department, New Paltz Youth Program, Thriving Together Town of New Paltz, and SUNY New Paltz Union Programming Council.
