Join Phillies Bridge Farm Project, Historic Huguenot Street, the Dr. Margaret Wade-Lewis Center Black History Cultural Center, the SUNY New Paltz Black Studies Department, and a panel of guest speakers to learn about the difficult truths behind the historical foundation of our community, and countless others across America. Our panel of historians and scholars will discuss and elucidate the history of colonization, displacement, and enslavement that built the structural and financial foundation of our community, and how this history has manifested in our current sociopolitical climate. Time will be alloted for audience questions.
