Early fall has always been an important time of year for Northeastern Native peoples. Come and learn about the abundance of this season, from corn and hickory nuts to eels and autumn berries, and about the importance of ceremonies of thanksgiving for Native communities in the Northeast.
Check-in is at the DuBois Fort Visitor Center. The program will begin at the replica Esopus Munsee wigwam and will guide visitors up Huguenot Street, through the Nyquist-Harcourt Wildlife Sanctuary.
